The Nazgul – pencil drawing of a ringwraith

This drawing started out in an unusual fashion. I was drawing a regular portrait and I wasn’t happy with it, so I covered the entire paper with a layer of charcoal. Then I decided to draw on top of black with a white pencil, and a ringwraith from Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings seemed like a nice subject.

It was mostly done with white pencil on top of charcoal, that was previously fixed, but I also used a white gel pen for some of the highlights. I also added a touch of red color.

If you like my work, check out my Facebook page or my Instagram for more of the drawings. If you’re interested in my artwork and wish to buy one of my original drawings, or commission a new one, it’s best to contact me through Facebook or email. You can order a  portrait of someone to give as a present, or anything else you can imagine. I can draw anything you like.
