Colored Pencil Drawing of Brad Pitt

This one is based on a movie still from Legends of the Fall. The tones were kinda tricky, and I also needed to make his hair look a lot lighter on the left side (his right). I simplified the shirt a bit (as I tend to do, lol) and then spent some time tweaking the facial features. He has a very interesting face.

I did the background with a light peach pastel pencil. I thought it would work well with other tones. I also used pastel to establish some of the base tones and then worked on top of them with colored pencils. I even used a bit of graphite pencil here and there for the facial hair.

Absolutely incredible job! You’ve totally captured Brad; the shimmering hair is really beautifully done.
